How much is needed

In order to properly maintain a field, it is necessary to understand how many macro- and micronutrients a given crop species needs. Many years of research and experience showed the following demand of individual species for micronutrients:
Average total absorption of main yield + working yield (g/t)
Species Manganese Copper Zinc Boron Molybdenum
Winter wheat 90 8 60 5 0,7
Winter rapeseed 100 10 60 80-120 1-2
Legumes 45 20 80 30 2-3
Potatoes 10 2 6 3 0,1
Sugar beet 15 3 8-10 8 0,2
Corn 50-60 14 60-65 11 1
Many nutrients are characterised by low mobility in the plant. In such situations, use foliar fertilisation in stages, and divide the dose of the micronutrient into 2–3 treatments. In this way, subsequent leaves are supplied with micronutrients with the development of the plant.
If micronutrients are compared to animals, the considerable majority feature mobility comparable to a snail or mouse. Only copper has a greater ability to move within the plant.
